Responsibilities

• Responsible of creating and implementing policies regarding the review of customers credit history and the granting. Including but not limited to the following:
• Monitor customer creditworthiness and payment behavior regularly.
• Analyze trends in payment delays and bad debts to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections.
• Prepare updated debtor ageing reports for various Business Unit.
• Coordinate with related parties to resolve credit and billing issues.
• Monitor closely overdue / problematic accounts by engaging with customers and /or salespersons, send reminder, provide settlement solution, and proceed legal recourse if necessary.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes and improve customer experience.
• Participate in performing tasks on “special projects” as requested.
• Arrange for cheque / cash / other documents’ collection.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Business Admin, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Prefer 3 – 5 years of related working experience.
• Good analytical thinking and basic financial analysis skills.
• Able to plan job with least supervision.
• Computer literate especially in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Some basic credit control & legal proceeding knowledge.
• Good inter-personal skills to liaise with customers, external auditor, banker & solicitor.
• Familiarity with credit systems or automation tools is an added advantage.
