Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Penang is seeking a Senior Costing Executive responsible for preparing and analyzing product costings, customer quotations, and pricing proposals. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of experience and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Mandarin is preferred. The role includes budgeting support, cost analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in costing and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Mandarin speakers preferred for job-related communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of customer RFQs.
• Evaluate pricing proposals and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product pricing.
• Conduct analysis on cost fluctuations and margin performance.
• Initiate and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Drive automation of pricing and costing processes.
• Provide financial support in budgeting and forecasting.
• Review and submit CAPEX applications.
