Job summary

DHL Group in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, invites a Cost Engineer to join APAC procurement. You will strengthen cost engineering, collaborate across Procurement, Solution Engineering and Operations to identify value opportunities, and drive standardization to reduce costs.

Qualifications

Proven track record identifying cost reduction opportunities.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to facilitate decision making in development and procurement.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or related programmes.
English communication skills.
Willing to travel approx. 20%.

Responsibilities

Apply cost and value engineering levers with procurement and solution engineering.
Collaborate across functions to realize roadmaps, standardization and complexity reductions.
Improve competitiveness via cost analysis, design-to-value and standardization projects.
Support engineering and category teams to drive preferred solution designs.
Communicate project metrics to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Coach and share best practices within the Cost Engineering Community of Practice.
Identify strategic saving opportunities and help achieve them.
