A leading engineering company in Malaysia is seeking a contract manager to oversee pre and post contract matters. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in M&E contracts, along with a strong understanding of cost control and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing project budgets, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in M&E contracts/QS related work.
• Strong knowledge of LV/ELV/ACMV & building services.
• Familiar with SMM2, PAM, PWD, CQMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre & post contract matters including LOA/LOI/VO/EOR.
• Review and negotiate contracts & subcontractors agreements.
• Prepare project budgeting and ensure cost control.

Manage pre & post contract matters including LOA/LOI/VO/EOR, progress claims & final accounts

Review and negotiate contracts & subcontractors agreements

Prepare project budgeting, responsible for cost control and cash flow management for projects

Evaluate subcontractor quotation, BQ and costs verification

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients & suppliers

Ensure compliance with CIDB, ST, PAM, PWD, CQMS & other regulatory standards

REQUIREMENTS

5-8 years experience in M&E contracts/QS related work

Strong knowledge of LV/ELV/ACMV & building services

Familiar with SMM2, PAM, PWD, CQMS requirements
