Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks an experienced professional for Contract Administration & Compliance. You will review and manage construction contracts, monitor compliance, and maintain documentation across the project lifecycle in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes variation management, EOT submissions, dispute resolution, and providing commercial guidance to safeguard project profitability. A senior-level candidate with 10–15 years in related delivery roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Law, or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, quantity surveying, or construction project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts such as PAM, FIDIC, PWD, NEC, or other industry-recognized forms of contract.
• Demonstrated experience managing Variations and change orders, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, payment certifications, contract negotiations, and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Review, administer, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and related project documentation.
• Monitor contractual compliance and provide guidance on obligations, rights, risks, and entitlements.
• Ensure project teams adhere to contract conditions, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Maintain contract registers, records, correspondence, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage variation orders, change management processes, and contractual claims.
• Prepare, assess, and negotiate Extension of Time submissions.
• Support evaluation and resolution of contractual disputes and commercial issues.
• Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
