A leading consumer intelligence company is looking for a Qualitative Consultant/Senior Consultant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves leading qualitative research projects, mentoring junior researchers, and ensuring the quality of research outputs. Candidates should have 5-8 years of qualitative research experience, strong methodologies knowledge, and excellent storytelling skills. TheQualitative Consultant/Senior Consultantis amid-seniormember of the qualitative practice responsible for deliveringhigh-qualityresearch, driving consultative client engagement, and supporting the growth of the Qualitativecustomer successteam acrossSingapore & Malaysia,while contributingexpertiseto broaderQualitative PracticeacrossAPAC.
This role requires strongexpertisein qualitative research methodologies and the ability to translate cultural,behavioural, and consumer insights into meaningful recommendations for clients. Theincumbent willwork closely with senior leaders to guide project teams, elevate the standard of qualitative delivery, and strengthen NIQ’s position as a thought partner to clients.
Experience inEthnography, Semiotics, Design Thinking,BehaviouralScience, or other advanced qualitative approaches is highly valued and enables deeper strategic impact across engagements.
