Job Responsibilities

• Operate coffee roasting machines and manage daily roasting activities
• Develop, monitor and adjust roast profiles (roast curves) to achieve desired flavour profiles
• Ensure consistency and quality in every batch of roasted coffee
• Monitor temperature, time, airflow and other roasting parameters
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety in the roasting area
• Support basic production and packing when required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a coffee roaster
• Able to read, understand and develop roasting curves / roast profiles
• Knowledge of coffee beans, roasting levels and flavour development
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently
• Experience in using roasting software / roasting machines is an added advantage
