About the role

are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Technician to join our team at Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading metal machining and fine‑pitch gear manufacturing company based in Kajang, Selangor. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for maintaining various types of machinery to produce high‑quality precision components for automotive, life‑science/medical, aerospace, oil & gas and office automation and home‑appliances.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and set up CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding) according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and production targets.

What we're looking for

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven 3 years' experience in CNC machining, setup, and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime if required.
