Job summary

RHB Banking Group seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own cloud governance and operations. You will manage an operational landing zone compliant with MAS TRMG and internal guidelines, driving SDLC best practices, CI/CD, IaC, blue/green deployments, and Git workflows.

You will lead a competent cloud engineering team, oversee cloud budgeting, and ensure secure, scalable cloud workloads across Bank environments in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Strong knowledge of MAS TRMG and IT security frameworks.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, blue/green deployments, and Git.
• Experience in regulated banking environments.
• Ability to lead and develop a cloud engineering team.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with middleware and databases in cloud/hybrid setups.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IT operations and performance of cloud-hosted IT systems.
• Ensure cloud deployments meet MAS regulations and bank policies.
• Lead budgeting for cloud infrastructure and manage cost.
• Act as technology partner in the Bank’s digital transformation.
• Lead and develop a cloud engineering team.
• Promote PRIDE values within the technology department.
• QA cloud-hosted deployments and test environments.
• Manage middleware and databases (e.g., IBM HQ, Oracle WebLogic, Redhat JBOSS, ICBA JHIT, SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS).
• Provide day-to-day operational support for cloud infrastructure.
