What is the opportunity?

CACEIS Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting the European countries across various geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of the operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximize efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centers of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

As a SCOO of Banking Services you will be responsible in processing the day-to-day banking ETD activities, including OTC pricing, ETD processing, ETD matching and EMIR reconciliation. The position requires good experience and background in operations including familiarity with ETD product and OTC pricing model. Individual should be proactive, team focus, dynamic and he/she adds value by working on a number of simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision while paying special attention to details. Our mission is to perform day-to-day operations in offering transparency and high level of control to our clients regarding the activity performed.

What will you do?
  • Ensure quality and timeliness signoff for Banking process – OTC pricing, ETD processing, ETD matching and EMIR reconciliation
  • Review reconciliation result and escalation issues to broker or internal stakeholders accordingly
  • After investigation and 4 eyes check, communicate trade discrepancies to internal partner to assist in resolving mismatches between client and its counterparties.
  • Mailbox queries are attended timely to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure all queries are managed effectively and escalation are sent to the Manager on timely manner.
  • Signoff on daily process requirements in line with the agreed timeline
  • Liaise with other department units to ensure a high‑quality service
  • Implement processes for team efficiencies and participate in business improvements projects
  • Ensure procedures are updated (in accordance with internal and client policies) and adhered to and where necessary define them

Starting date: 01/12/2025. Position with management. No minimum level of study: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent. Training / Specialization: Tertiary education in relevant background.
