Overview

HLA Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in our Kuala Lumpur office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality civil engineering solutions and services to support the company's diverse range of infrastructure and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering plans, specifications, and detailed calculations for various projects
• Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the civil engineering team
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions to optimize project outcomes
• Participate in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and tenders
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all engineering activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects.
• Excellent technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in using engineering software, such as InfoWorks, Civil 3D, MES MiTS and STAAD Pro.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional body.
