Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Chef De Partie – Pastry & Bakery who will play a critical role in elevating our pastry standards and driving innovation in our offerings. This role requires someone who is creative, hands‑on, and capable of leading a section with confidence while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and efficiency in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist to oversee daily operations within the Pastry & Bakery section, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Prepare, produce, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, bread, and baked products according to recipes and brand standards.
  • Assist in menu development, seasonal creations, and continuous improvement of products.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior chefs, commis, and trainees within the pastry section to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain proper stock control, including monitoring inventory levels, minimizing wastage, and ensuring timely requisition of supplies.
  • Ensure all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are strictly adhered to in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections to support overall kitchen operations and service excellence.
  • Participate in training, development activities, and performance evaluations for pastry team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pastry and bakery.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, dessert plating, and creative pastry development.
  • Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high-volume operations while maintaining quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for producing high-quality pastry and bakery items.
