Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia is seeking experienced C++ developers to work on global trading systems with a focus on very low latency and robust, well-tested code. The role involves porting a large monolithic system to a new distributed platform and collaborating with global teams.

Candidates should be proficient in C++98–C++11 with exposure to newer standards, strong algorithms, and a willingness to refactor. The team uses Git, Jira/Gitlab, cmake, and modern toolchains, with a close-to-metal mindset.

Qualifications

• C++ proficiency from C++98 to C++11 minimum; prefer 14/17/20.
• Strong algorithms and software engineering skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to refactor code safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to perform code reviews constructively.
• GDB experience.
• Willingness to work in a distributed, global team.

Responsibilities

• The trading systems require very low latency and optimized C++ that is robust and well tested.
• The team runs on a weekly sprint process, with daily stand ups over Zoom with developers worldwide.
• We use Git, Jira, Gitlab, cmake, Nix, gcc, clang, etc.
• We enjoy close-to-metal programming and understand cache misses, TLB misses, and branch costs.
• Contribute to porting systems from monolithic to distributed platform.
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality and performance.
