Job summary

KGI Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled C# Developer to enhance, maintain, and extend its in-house back-office applications in Kuala Lumpur.

The role focuses on resolving defects, developing new features, and building integration solutions to connect internal systems. The ideal candidate will have strong C#/.NET expertise, experience with enterprise applications, and a passion for writing clean, scalable code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET (Framework/Core).
• Proficiency in Back-end development (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, REST/SOAP).
• Experience with database systems (MSSQL Server).
• Experience with system integrations (file-based workflows, APIs, message brokers).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Visual Studio Debugger, logging like Serilog).

Responsibilities

• Bug Fixing & Maintenance: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues in C#/.NET applications; optimise performance and reliability.
• Feature Development: Design and implement new functionalities for back-office apps based on business needs; refine requirements with stakeholders.
• System Integration: Develop interfaces (APIs, file adapters, messaging) to interconnect internal systems; ensure seamless data exchange.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; participate in code reviews and improve architecture/design.
• Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests; refactor legacy code to improve test coverage; validate data integrity in workflows.
