Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia is seeking experienced C++ developers to work on global trading systems for a large US hedge fund. You will contribute to moving from a monolithic architecture toward a distributed platform, with a mix of legacy C++98 and modern C++17/20, in a fast-paced environment.

The team values deep systems understanding, clean design, and rigorous testing. Expect weekly sprints, daily stand-ups via Zoom, and collaboration with engineers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • C++98 through C++11 minimum; prefer experience with 14, 17, and 20
  • Strong algorithms and software engineering skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to refactor code safely and efficiently
  • gdb
  • Willingness to do what is needed to get the job done
  • Humility, and an ability to take code review constructive criticism well
  • Willingness to perform code reviews for others in a constructive manner

Responsibilities

  • Develop low-latency, robust C++ trading systems
  • Port systems to a distributed platform
  • Collaborate in a weekly sprint with daily stand ups via Zoom
  • Use git, Jira, Gitlab, cmake, Nix, gcc, clang and related tools
  • Maintain well-tested, high-quality code in a global team
