Qualifications

• 1-2 years of working experience in retail operations management or a related field.
• Able to work on shifts including off days, rest days or public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Know and learn the various names of all cuts and the procedures of cutting them.
• Ensure butchery work is carried out correctly in the department.
• In charge of ordering merchandise for the department.
• Check the freshness of merchandise when received from the supplier.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly kept and arranged in cold storage.
• Cut the meat into required sizes and debone if necessary.
• Pack meats into trays and price tag them before displaying.
• Maintain cleanliness in the department.
• Responsible for stock take preparation for the department.
• Delegate jobs to other staff and oversee their work.
