As the Business Manager for our AWS Cloud Partner organization, you will be instrumental in driving the sales growth of Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions, expanding our market share, and establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients and the official AWS team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Customer Acquisition: Identify, develop, and close new cloud computing project opportunities, focusing on enterprise-level accounts or specific industry verticals.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales targets for AWS cloud services (including cloud migration, managed services, DevOps, and SaaS solutions).
- Solution Promotion: Collaborate with the technical team to clearly articulate the value proposition, cost benefits, and unique value-add of our AWS services to potential customers.
- Contract Management: Manage the full sales cycle, including business negotiations, contract drafting, execution, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Client Relationship Management
- Account Depth: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, understanding their IT architecture and business challenges to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for cloud expansion.
- Executive Engagement: Establish and sustain long-term, trusting relationships with client IT leaders, business decision-makers, and C-level executives.
AWS Ecosystem and Channel Management
- Channel Partnership: Maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with the official AWS team (including sales and Channel Managers) to ensure the company receives necessary resources and support as an AWS Partner.
- Co-Selling: Actively engage in AWS Co-Sell opportunities, coordinating internal resources with the AWS team to serve mutual customers.
- Knowledge Base: Ensure an in-depth understanding of AWS products, pricing strategies, the AWS Partner Network (APN), and relevant industry solutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT industry sales or business development, with at least 2 years directly involved in selling Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- AWS Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of core Amazon Web Services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to independently manage large-scale project sales, conduct business negotiations, and deliver compelling solution presentations.
- Language: Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills in English and/or Mandarin (depending on the target market).
- Highly Driven: Strong result-orientation, high self-motivation, and determination to achieve goals.
- Interpersonal: Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to manage high-level client relationships.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in the fast-paced, constantly evolving cloud market and manage high-pressure sales environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold an AWS Business or Foundational Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
- Possess established enterprise customer resources within specific industries (e.g., Finance, E-commerce, Manufacturing).
