Job description

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within industrial, commercial, and logistics sectors.

Build and maintain strong client relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and facility owners.

Provide tailored proposals, technical presentations, and solution recommendations.

Technical Consultation
  • Review and interpret project drawings, tender documents, and technical specifications.
  • Recommend appropriate products such as sectional doors, dock levellers, high-speed shutters, and fire-rated doors.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and service teams to ensure practical and compliant solutions.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and support a small team of Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer.
  • Set clear sales targets and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Deliver product and technical training to strengthen team capability.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-first team culture.
Project Coordination
  • Work closely with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide after-sales support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare regular sales reports.
  • Monitor team performance and adjust strategies to meet company objectives.
  • Share market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback with management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in Building & Construction: Industrial, loading solutions, Residence Doors, Roller Shutters.
  • Possess existing networks of main contractors, architects and customers.
  • Experience in generating leads, prospecting new clients, and closing business deals.
  • Strong and proven network within the above-mentioned industry.
  • Diploma/Degree.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Strong understanding of business development and sales techniques, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
