A leading payment platform in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage client relationships across Malaysia. Ideal candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in business development, fluent in Malay, English, and Chinese, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. This role involves significant client interaction and travel within Malaysia.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer support.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive new business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities across Malaysia
  • Acquire and manage clients through door-to-door outreach, field visits and business networking
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of XTransfer's products and services
  • Represent XTransfer at national trade shows, conferences and industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, risk control, compliance, operations, marketing) to deliver seamless client experience
  • Travel within Malaysia to meet clients and colleagues on-site
Job Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, customer support or other client-facing roles
  • Fluent in Malay, English and Chinese
  • Prior experience in Banking, Estate, Electronics, Clothing, Stationery, Furniture, Tools, Construction Materials or Logistics industries
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy and customer service mindset
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
