A leading insurance provider is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves supervising agency action plans, addressing member concerns, and providing motivation. Ideal candidates will have a degree and at least 3 years of experience in business development or sales. Monitor and supervise agency strategic action plans on KPIs.
Attend to any agency doubts, concerns and problems faced by agency members and provide solutions.
Provide guidance and counseling to agency members violating company, industry or regulatory guidelines and implement the prescribed guidelines among agency members.
Provide additional motivation for agency members to raise morale.
Organize and support all company functions.
Continuously encourage agency members to focus on recruiting new agents.
Encourage agency leaders to train-up agents for promotion to be future leaders.
Customer Service Development
Participate in all identified core‑customer service programs to update product and system knowledge.
Work closely with and support branch staff in identifying root causes/trends of customer service issues and come up with solutions to resolve them.
People Development
Implement core programs to encourage new agents to perform well and retain them in the company.
Ensure training rooms, centres and other facilities & equipment in the region are accurately maintained.
Provide quality training and support services to the agency force to upgrade skills and performance.
Communication & Organization Development
Provide a formal platform to disseminate information and receive feedback from agency members during meetings.
Assist and support all launches and events.
Communicate and motivate by promoting agency, regional or PAMB challenges, incentives and contests.
Organize and implement formal platforms for interaction of agency members and build teamwork through group meetings and gatherings.
Submit weekly planning and monthly reports.
