A consulting firm in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development professional to drive lead management, proposal coordination, and client engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in B2B sales, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, coordinating proposals, and supporting client relations. Business Development & Pipeline Management
Track, manage, and progress all SHR leads, follow-ups, and deal stages.
Drive proposal-to-deal conversion and reduce overall sales cycle time.
Support new client acquisition, repeat business, and account expansion opportunities.
Proposal & Commercial Governance
Coordinate preparation and submission of proposals
Ensure clarity of scope, pricing discipline, SLA terms, and improvise request mechanisms.
Maintain proposal logs, approval records, and submission timelines.
Client Engagement & Continuity
Support structured client engagement initiatives such as briefings, webinars, and post-project touchpoints.
Assist in executing SHR’s Client Engagement Calendar.
Track post-project opportunities and follow up on expansion or continuation pathways.
Internal Business Management & Coordination
Maintain centralized sales dashboards, pipeline trackers, and proposal repositories.
Work closely with Marketing & Corporate Communications (MCC) to support analytics, forecasting, and sales visibility.
Coordinate SHR opportunities with HRIR and Training divisions for cross-selling and integrated solutions.
Consultant Productivity Enablement
Improve pipeline visibility to support better consultant deployment and utilization.
Ensure consultants remain focused on value‑creating and billable delivery activities.
Strong stakeholder management and commercial communication skills
Negotiation and influence without authority
Results‑oriented with high ownership and accountability
