Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a data analyst to collate, analyze, and report sales and marketing data to drive performance insights for management. You will forecast sales trends, validate data with internal partners, and ensure campaigns are evaluated with solid analytics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency with Excel or BI tools. You will present findings clearly, support pricing analysis, and assist with month-end activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field or as an analyst.
• Familiarity with business intelligence software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collate, analyze, and report sales data to evaluate performance and trends.
• Forecast sales trends and provide business insights.
• Gather campaign requirements and analyze campaign opportunities.
• Develop campaigns aligned with marketing strategies and ensure timely execution.
• Liaise between business users and IT for campaign setup and management.
• Support business initiatives using campaign management tools.
• Analyze pricing, costing, and margins to support pricing strategies.
• Suggest pricing improvements based on margin analysis.
• Support post-campaign margin analysis and performance reviews.
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk management.
• Share actionable information with sales and management.
• Communicate key findings to management for strategic decisions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Support external audit requirements when needed.
