Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join the team. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business analysis, preferably within the fintech, payment gateway, or financial services industry. The successful candidate will lead business analysis initiatives, drive requirement gathering sessions, ensure robust system testing, and deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business objectives and regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with business users, merchants, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements, translating them into clear Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Process Flows.
• Facilitate walkthroughs, workshops, and clarification sessions with stakeholders.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment between business requirements and technology deliverables.
• Review and provide input on user manuals, training guides, and knowledge base documentation.
• Design and oversee the execution of test cases and scripts for UAT, SIT, and Regression Testing.
• Manage defect tracking, reporting, and validation to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure solutions meet documented requirements and regulatory standards.
• Maintain structured testing documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Drive process improvements by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements (BNM, PayNet, PCI-DSS, MDEC).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Mentor junior analysts or trainees where required.

Criteria and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis within fintech, banking, or payment gateway industries.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, SDLC, and testing frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience preparing BRD, Functional Specs, User Stories, and Process Documentation.
• Proven experience conducting UAT, SIT, and Regression Testing.
• Familiarity with fintech/payment systems and regulatory compliance (BNM, PayNet, PCI‑DSS) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Notion is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Education
