A leading food retail company in Malaysia seeks an experienced Brand Executive to manage brand events and support PR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, with at least 3 years of experience in branding and event management. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders. This role emphasizes strong project management and organizational skills.
Support PR initiatives, including media engagement, influencer/KOL collaborations, and brand communications.
Assist in managing brand reputation through clear and effective messaging.
Plan, execute, and coordinate brand events, roadshows, and outlet openings.
Manage event sales operations to ensure sales targets are met during activations.
Oversee event inventory, ensuring proper distribution, usage, and tracking of materials.
Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth on-ground activities.
Track and report post-event performance, including sales and engagement outcomes.
Assist in the planning and execution of brand campaigns and product initiatives.
Contribute ideas for proposals, creative direction, and project presentations.
Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand objectives and delivered within timeline and budget.
Work closely with internal teams (PR, social media, creative, production) to deliver integrated brand experiences.
Stay updated on industry and consumer trends to proactively propose new brand initiatives.
Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and commitment to completing assigned tasks effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in branding, PR, events, or marketing.
Excellent command of English, Mandarin and Malay to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong experience in event execution and inventory management.
Excellent project management, organizational, and coordination skills.
Proactive, committed, and able to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
