We are looking for a dynamic biomedical to join our company. You will have to responsible for keeping all biomedical equipment in good working order. This including installing and maintaining biomedical equipment, preparing equipment performance reports, and instructing personnel in the care and use of equipment.
Performing routine maintenance checks on biomedical equipment through testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting.
Installing new biomedical equipment and adjusting the device according to medical specifications.
Equipment testing, calibration & documentation
Liaison with principals and internal teams - Coordinate and schedule service appointments with clients, technicians, and internal teams.
Updating the inventory, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
Repairing faulty machinery on a routine basis and tending to emergency repairs as needed.
Keeping a digital record of equipment repairs, faulty components, and recalibrated devices - Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
Ensuring that all equipment meets company standards of safety and quality and is following relevant laws.
Assist in managing service escalations and resolving client issues efficiently.
A bachelor's degree / diploma in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a biomedical technician.
Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in layman's terms.
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
Proficient dexterity and hand-eye coordination, as well as physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.
Possess own vehicle and willing to travel locally
