Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a candidate to handle plant-wide automation, tooling, and fixture design. Responsibilities include equipment build, testing, and providing solutions to manufacturing needs. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering fields are preferred, but those with 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered. Strong knowledge in automation and electromechanical design is required, along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience may be accepted.
• Good knowledge in design, automation, electromechanical and machining.

Job description

Responsible for plant-wide automation, tooling, mechanization and fixture design to fabrication using SW.

Responsibility include plant-wide equipment build/transfer, automation & test/OSA/module/TO-Can requirements.

Provide solution to manufacturing process needs. Responsible for plant wide process, fixture, tooling & automated machine design, built & qualification.

Responsible for building process equipment and factory automation needs from concept to realization.

Responsible for equipment transfer, set-up and commissioning. Performing any duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.

Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

Requirements

Bachelor / Master in Mechanical/Mechatronics/EE Engineering or related discipline.

Candidates without above qualification but with minimum 5 years relevant experience could be considered.

Good knowledge of fixture design, automation, electromechanical and machining.

Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.

With good computer literacy and good communication skill.

Additional knowledge of automation PLC/PC base, jigs & fixture designs, electromechanical & machining is an advantage.
