Design and develop machine automation and vision systems. Provide solutions for the Coherent Ipoh transceiver manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, company rules, and applicable codes. Drive continual improvement and practice risk‑based thinking in planning and execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for design & development of machine automation and vision systems
• Responsibility in automated process & inspection equipment build
• Provide solution to Coherent Ipoh transceiver manufacturing process needs
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 year of experience in networking, test process or product transfer.
• Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production.
• Understand basic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
