Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Audit Associate to support statutory audits for SME clients across various industries. You will prepare working papers, perform audit testing, and assist in drafting financial statements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, pursuing ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA, 2–3 years of audit experience, and good communication. You will work independently and manage multiple deadlines; experience with listed firm engagements is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Pursuing or have begun ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA; membership encouraged.
• 2–3 years of experience in audit/accounting firm.
• Basic understanding of MFRS/MPERS and audit procedures is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in handling listed firm engagements is an advantage.
