Job summary

Deloitte Malaysia is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead engagement teams across banking and financial institutions, delivering high-quality audit, assurance and compliance services. You will guide and develop teams, manage client relationships, and support Partners in planning and change management.

Applicants should hold a recognised professional accounting qualification, be a member of a major accounting body, and have 5–8 years of relevant experience with strong communication

Qualifications

• recognised professional accounting qualification required.
• 5-8 years of relevant audit experience in banks and financial institutions.
• Membership of MIA/MICPA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and people management skills; ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Experience in well-established professional services firms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engagement teams across audit, assurance and compliance work for a portfolio of diversified clients.
• Guide and mentor team members and review their work for quality and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and assist Partners in planning work and change management.
• Ensure adherence to auditing and accounting standards, laws, regulations and firm quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with internal specialists and align team goals with client objectives.
