Summary

We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join our audit team, focusing on SME and mid-market clients, with occasional exposure to cross-border engagements. The role involves planning and executing audit assignments, supervising junior team members, and maintaining strong client relationships. Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with client acceptance, risk assessments, and analytical procedures.
  • Execute and review audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with MPERS/MFRS and ISA.
  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members.
  • Communicate with clients and engagement teams on audit issues and follow up on review points.
  • Perform technical research and resolve accounting/audit-related challenges.
  • Track engagement progress, identify issues, and propose improvements.
  • Embrace audit technologies including data analytics and automation tools.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) completed or in progress.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant external audit experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MPERS, MFRS, IFRS, and Companies Act 2016.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
