Job summary

AHAM Capital seeks a strategic support professional to contribute to its short- and long-term objectives by helping to shape the company’s overall strategic direction. You will assist in evaluating strategic investments, including mergers and acquisitions, and conduct industry research to provide senior management with actionable insights.

The role involves due diligence support, memo preparation, and collaboration with the Executive Committee to identify growth opportunities across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or any other relevant (quantitative or analytical) discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in an established financial institution, management consulting firm, or other appropriate professional environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders and employees.
• Demonstrates analytical, conceptual thinking, problem solving and planning skills.
• Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrates strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with high level confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Support the Group in evaluating strategic investments, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

• Perform competitor and peer benchmarking to identify best practices and positioning.
• Summarise key insights, implications, and recommendations for senior management review.
• Support due diligence workstreams, including market, financial, and operational assessments.
• Assist in the preparation of memos and internal approval.
• Support the Executive Committee to ensure the organizational goals and strategies are realized.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and divisions to identify new growth opportunities.
• Assist in ad-hoc requests as and when required by the Head of Department or Executive Committee

Education

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field
