Agensi Pekerjaan Derasniaga Sdn Bhd seeks an accounting/audit professional in Malaysia to support planning through completion of medium to large engagements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong English, analytical, and reporting skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with full or partial professional qualifications such as MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, or CPA Australia are welcome.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, audit, finance, or related field.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good analytical, report preparation, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, and innovative with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle and assist in medium to large-sized audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Participate in ad-hoc and special audit assignments.
• Liaise directly with clients and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Work closely with team members and engagement leaders.
• Guide and mentor junior staff when required.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide value-added recommendations to clients.
