Job summary

AirAsia is seeking an Asset Repair Team member in Malaysia to manage and monitor the repair and overhaul of engines, modules, and related assets. You will review asset removals, verify reports, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely, compliant repairs.

You will evaluate quotations, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and track progress with OEMs and service providers to maintain serviceable assets while supporting strategic leasing and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation asset repair and MRO processes.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and airline teams.
• Understanding of repair cycle and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair and overhaul of engines, modules, and Class 1 assets.
• Review reasons for asset removals from aircraft and verify reports.
• Evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, and turnaround time.
• Coordinate with lessors, OEMs, and MROs on lease, swap, and returns.
• Negotiate with vendors for repair of unserviceable assets and assess quotations.
