Senior Analyst, Capital & Debt Management FTP NIM

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Capital & Debt Management (FTP & NIM) to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will support key funding transfer pricing (FTP) and net interest margin (NIM) activities, providing timely analysis and insights to support management decision‑making and regulatory reporting.

What you will be doing

Provide required information, particularly FTP data, to the consolidation team in a timely manner to support monthly closing.

Manage the FTP system and perform FTP computations, including analysis of FTP implications to SBGs.

Extract and consolidate data from multiple systems and the data warehouse to support monthly and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.

Prepare management decks and presentation materials for GALCO.

Support the section or department head in facilitating meetings, workshops, and seminars with internal and external stakeholders to identify issues and develop recommendations.

Drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, including reducing processing time and improving the quality of reporting decks.

Attend to ad‑hoc reports or analysis requested by management, other divisions, or regulators such as Bank Negara Malaysia.

Perform Group net interest margin (NIM) simulations based on business strategies, forecasts, and changes in policy rates, including BNM’s Overnight Policy Rate movements.

Provide interest rate movement simulations and assess the corresponding NIM impact to support management decision‑making.

Assist the Head of Department with ad‑hoc matters as required.

What we’re looking for

Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline.

Solid experience in FTP, NIM analysis, balance sheet management, or treasury‑related functions within a financial institution.

Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into clear recommendations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data extraction and reporting.

Good understanding of banking products, interest rate risk, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.

Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
