Job summary

Systems Limited - APAC is seeking a Lead AI Engineer – Generative AI to architect and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI. You will lead a mixed onshore/offshore team, drive architecture standards, and engage government and enterprise clients for secure Azure and on-prem deployments.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Python, Azure OpenAI, and MLOps, with strong communication and bilingual Arabic/English capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, AI, or related field.
5–7+ years of experience with 2–4 years in Generative AI & enterprise AI leadership.
Strong hands-on Python, FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, and microservices experience.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, GPT models, prompt engineering, and Responsible AI.
Experience with RAG using Azure AI Search, embeddings, and evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI solutions aligned with architecture standards.
Define technical architecture, reusable AI frameworks, and engineering best practices.
Mentor onshore/offshore AI engineers; conduct reviews and architecture discussions.
Act as technical lead for government/enterprise clients; run workshops and architecture sessions.
Identify risks, contribute to sprint planning and milestone reviews.
Evaluate emerging AI tech and recommend suitable solutions.
Lead Intelligent Document Processing using OCR/Vision AI and Azure Document Intelligence.
Design and implement integrations with Dynamics 365, SharePoint, ERP/CRM systems.
