Job summary

A precast manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accounts Officer/Senior Accountant in Johor, Malaysia. You will manage a full set of accounts, supervise daily activities, and analyze financial data for decision-making. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 4 years of experience in a senior role, and familiarity with Navision is a plus.

A precast manufacturing company is looking a Senior Accounts Officer/ Senior Accountant to join our team:

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR & GL)
• Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Analyze financial data and provide information for decision making or business improvement to the Management.
• Compute and prepare company statutory income tax
• Cash flow management
• Interact with suppliers, authorities & third parties relating to accounting matters
• Liaise closely with HQ for all accounting and reporting matters
• Ensure accounting records & systems comply with company policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or ACCA with at least 4 years work experience as a Senior role
• Experience in manufacturing or construction industry is preferred.
• Able to work with minimum supervision. Self-motivated with good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Able to work in fast pace environment and meet the deadlines.
• Familiar with Navision software is a plus.
