Job summary

A leading township developer in Johor Bahru is seeking a skilled finance professional to assist the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate requires MIA membership and extensive experience in finance and accounts, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. You will manage financial reports and cashflow while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This position offers a competitive salary of RM16,000.

Qualifications

  • Must be a member of MIA.
  • Extensive experience in Accounts/Finance required.
  • Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Chief Financial Officer with all matters.
  • Manage cashflow requirements.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and government bodies.
  • Prepare financial reports on schedule.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer in all matters.
  • Manage cashflow requirements of the Group, taking into account all relevant stakeholders.
  • Meet up regularly with bankers on financing matters.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and relevant government bodies for audit, taxation and financial matters.
  • Assist in the preparation, review and analysis of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports as well as other relevant reports within stipulated timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for submission to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Be able to prepare budgets/cashflow projections.
  • Assist with the tax planning for the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for the Group of companies.
  • Must be able to travel outstation for works.
Requirements
  • Must be an MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) member.
  • Very experienced in Accounts/Finance.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good written and communication skills.
Working Days And Working Hours
  • 5‑day work week (Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm).
