Job summary

A prominent accounting firm in Subang Jaya seeks an Accounts Executive to manage full book-keeping activities including AP, AR, and GL, ensure timely billing and compliance with regulations. Candidates must hold a Diploma in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years' experience in full set accounts and knowledge of Auto Count Software. Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of book-keeping including AP, AR, and GL.
  • Ensure timely billing to customers in adherence to AP and AR procedures.
  • Track daily transactions and perform month-end account closing.
  • Prepare and submit Financial & Management Reports.
  • Handle e-Invoice submission as per tax regulations.
  • Liaise with Tax/Audit Companies for accurate year-end submission.

Job description

Manage full spectrum of book-keeping including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payment processing, claims, and monthly reconciliation up to preparation of financial statements.

Ensure timely billing to customers in adherence to AP and AR procedures through accurate generation of invoices, credit notes and debit notes.

Track daily transactions, perform month-end-stock and account closing.

Oversee overall accounting and tax functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Prepare and submit Financial & Management Reports to Management on a timely basis.

Handle e-Invoice submission in accordance with current tax regulations.

Liaise with external Tax/Audit Companies to address related queries and ensure accurate and timely year-end submission

Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accepted accounting practices.

Perform general office administration tasks and provide support where necessary.

Administrative

Keeping records of office assets for renewal and maintenance purposes.

Manage and renew company licenses including MPSJ, CIDB PPSI Certificate and legal compliance certificates annually.

Ensure all filing systems (physical and electronic) are organised in a proper manner for easy retrieval.

Adhere to and follow all instructions, regulations and policies given by the Company at all times.

Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting.

At least 3 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts.

Must have knowledge of Auto Count Software, preferably Cloud Software.

Independent, self-motivated, proactive and a team player.

High accuracy, meticulous and attention to detail.
