Job description

MST Golf Group is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our company's accounts. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the overall financial success of the organisation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Participate in month-end closing activities and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare monthly recurring journal entries and review account postings for accuracy.
  • Perform detailed monthly financial reporting analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of weekly and monthly payment plans.
  • Participate in system implementation projects.
  • Manage inter-company transactions and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and right-of-use (ROU) assets.
  • Update and submit financial information required by Group Finance.
  • Support audits, liaise with external auditors, and prepare audit schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc tasks delegated by superiors.
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior accounts executive role, preferably within the retail or golf industry.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the use of accounting software, such as Dynamics 365 BC & Oracle ERP, is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of pivot tables in Excel is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
  • Experience in handling Singapore accounts, with knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and regulations, is an added advantage.
