Job summary

A leading service management company in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive with a diploma in accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supporting monthly closing schedules, handling financial transactions, and generating reports. Familiarity with internal control and Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly closing schedule.
  • Timely processing and billing of revenue as per each site’s commercial model.
  • Record and process financial transactions related to procurement and suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly journal postings and monitor accruals.
  • Handle the full set of accounts and prepare the first draft P&L.
  • Work closely with business operations for reporting.
  • Resolve outstanding issues and escalate as necessary.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Support monthly closing schedule.
  • Timely processing and billing of revenue as per each site’s commercial model.
  • Recording and processing of financial transactions related to procurement and suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly journal postings and monitor accruals, reversal entries to ensure action.
  • Follow‑up items are closed after month‑end closing.
  • Accountable for handling the full set of accounts, prepare the first draft P&L by site for Assistant Finance.
  • Work closely with business operations and other key stakeholders to generate reporting.
  • Generate output reporting.
  • Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues identified and escalating to the respective parties as necessary.
  • Ad‑hoc tasks as requested by superior.
Required Skills
  • Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in a relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with internal control & accounting principles, procedures and standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an added advantage.
  • Good skills in MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a team and commit to deadlines.
