Job summary

A jewellery wholesale company in Puchong, Malaysia, is looking for an Accounts Executive. The candidate must have a degree in accounting and at least 4 years of experience. Responsibilities

• Prepare timely financial and management reports.
• Manage full set of accounts including reconciliations.
• Work closely with auditor firm for audit reports.
• Liaise with external parties like tax agents and bankers.
• Assist day-to-day operations in accounts department.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job description

Prepare timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial and management reports

Manage and prepare full set of accounts including monthly reconciliations.

Work closely with Auditor firm to prepare audit reports.

Liaise with external parties including tax agent, company secretary, bankers and government officials.

Assist in the day-to-day operations and activities in the accounts department

Other ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Mandarin (Cantonese is a plus) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients (both written and spoken).
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting, LCCI or ACCA certification.
• Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word & SQL Accounting Software.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Tax experience would be an added advantage.
• Initiative, independent, meticulous and responsible.
• Good analytical and communication skill.
