Job description

Responsibilities

• Invoice & Billing Management: Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on a timely basis.
• Payment Processing: Manage customer and supplier payments to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain inventory and cost records, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Expense Management: Verify monthly staff claims in accordance with company policies.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts Preparation: Handle full set of accounts and prepare monthly accounts, schedules, and basic management reports.
• Record Management: Maintain proper filing of financial documents in both hardcopy and softcopy formats.
• Other Accounting Support: Assist with ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; experience in retail, trading, and wholesale is an added advantage.
• Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Autocount) and Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Positive learning attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients; ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
• Position title and remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and working experience.
