A leading cold storage company in Lahad Datu, Sabah is seeking a skilled financial accountant to manage full accounting duties and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, a minimum of 3-5 years experience in retail and manufacturing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role requires strong multitasking abilities and fluency in English.
Handle full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities including statutory submission.
Ensure timely statutory compliance.
Manage financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation and evaluation of financial and banking data.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing and reporting.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and filings.
Liaise with auditor, tax agent, banker, secretary, government and other professional bodies.
Perform other duties as and when delegated.
Handle and manage stock requisition, payment collection monitoring and issuance of invoices.
To manage stock and ordering of consumable items.
Checking of monthly claims.
Responsible for banking and office administration tasks.
