Job summary

A leading company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a skilled professional to handle the Record to Report process for their Fertilizers Business. Responsibilities include divisional and statutory reporting, preparation of financial statements, and financial performance analysis. Job description

To perform the Record to Report process and reporting for Fertilizers Business.

Responsible for Divisional Reporting and Statutory Reporting.

Perform Record to Report process including review journal entries/ accruals/ prepayment/ process flows and correction of errors.

Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reconciliations.

Analyze company's financial performance to produce accurate and complete reports.

Provide support to continuous improvement initiatives.

Liaise closely with internal & external auditors and furnish relevant accounting records and working papers.

Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, MIA) or progress towards professional certification will be an advantage.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with relevant experience in foreign currency activities will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS/ IFRS) and taxation.

Meticulous, organized, and able to handle multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
