Job summary
A well-established event venue in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to handle full accounts management, including AP, AR, and GL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong payroll processing skills, and knowledge of tax compliance. Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Handle the full set of accounts: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports and cash flow forecasts
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
- Process and verify staff claims according to company policies
- Submit SST and support in tax‑related matters and audit processes
- Ensure timely and accurate e‑Invoice submissions to LHDN in compliance with government regulations
- Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and manage payments and collections
- Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities as needed
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax laws, and internal control frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in accounting
- Familiarity with Xero and Autocount software
- Strong accounting skills with experience in AP, AR, and GL
- Proficient in payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance, including SST and LHDN e‑Invoicing
- Ability to prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, and manage cash flow
