Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the senior team with financial statements and management reports. The ideal candidate will possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential, as the role involves collaboration with Mandarin-speaking clients. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in preparing financial statements.
• Co-ordinate with departments to improve workflows for monthly closing.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Liaise with tax agents on tax computation and filings.
