Overview

Senior Accounting Executive with 3–5 years of experience to handle full-set accounting and support our finance operations. The candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable with accounting systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare basic financial statements and management reports
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Support statutory audit, tax, secretarial and liaise with external auditors, tax agent and company secretary when required
• Assist with internal controls and accounting procedures
• Use and manage data extraction/reporting with SQL where applicable

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proven experience in full-set accounting
• Familiarity with SQL (data querying/reporting); experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage
• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting practices
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient in English; Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are an advantage
