Role Overview

The Senior Accountant / Team Leader is responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of clients and their subsidiary companies in Singapore and the region. The role ensures that all statutory, regulatory, tax, and governance requirements are met, while providing high-quality corporate administration and accounting services in a professional and timely manner.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, this role will collaborate closely with ALTIOS’ regional teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam to deliver integrated accounting, compliance, and advisory solutions for international clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate regional accounting teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development.

Oversee day-to-day corporate services operations, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent delivery of high-quality client services.

Coordinate and manage all accounting activities for assigned client portfolios, while building and strengthening client relationships.

Maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality in all client deliverables.

Manage a portfolio of client entities, ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of corporate records, statutory filings, and registers.

Ensure client entities comply with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations (direct and indirect), and statutory reporting requirements.

Coordinate and liaise with third parties, including banks, auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive support and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Maintain internal systems and databases to track client entities, compliance milestones, and documentation.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, payroll/HR administration, taxation, and basic corporate secretarial functions; experience in the professional services industry will be an advantage.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Meticulous, with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in French will be an advantage.

Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and professional approach
