Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant Executive to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations for our asset management company. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, and effective internal control.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and cost control to support business decisions.

• Manage tax submissions (SST) and liaise with auditors.

• Maintain internal control systems and ensure accounting processes comply with MFRS standards.

• Review and approve payment vouchers, invoices, and reimbursement claims.

• Support management in financial planning, investment analysis, and forecasting.

• Liaise with bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent (LCCI, ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of full-set accounting experience, preferably in property / investment / asset management industries.

• Proficient in SQL, Autocount, or Xero accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations.

• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (spoken and written).
