A leading accounting firm in Malaysia is looking for an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will prepare management accounts, handle tax-related matters, and support group consolidation efforts. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly within a multi-entity environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
Handle full set of accounts for multiple entities (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, month-end closing).
Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis with commentary.
Support group consolidation and reporting where required.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for business entities.
Manage and coordinate tax-related matters (tax computation, annual tax return filing, and support transfer pricing documentation when needed).
Support statutory reporting and compliance matters for property/investment entities.
Coordinate basic company secretarial (CoSec) matters (e.g., resolutions, statutory filings) with external CoSec/consultants.
Support bank financing/loan applications by preparing required financial schedules and documents.
Oversee contractor billing / progress claims and related documentation.
Maintain proper internal controls, improve processes, and ensure accurate documentation.
